Chair Sponsorship

Thames Youth Orchestra's chair sponsorship scheme was set-up at the start of 2011, with the intention of allowing leavers' parents, friends of the orchestra and other benefactors to make a contribution to its running and have more of a personal connection with the orchestra. The scheme was initiated by Professor Peter Toyne, head of the orchestra's Board of Trustees, and his wife Angela, who sponsored the Leader's chair for £500.

Sponsoring a chair not only allows you to give some financial support to the orchestra, but you will also:

• have your name listed as sponsoring a player in our concert programmes;
• receive a free ticket and programme for each concert of our 2011/2012 season;
• and have the chance to meet your sponsored player.

Orchestra chairs are £30 to sponsor for one year, or you can sponsor one of our section leaders for £50.
