Welcome to the orchestra news page, which we'll be using to keep players, parents and visitors up to date on any and all orchestra matters.

• 21.10.2011 David and Jackie Jillings, parents of former TYO principal trombonist Ed, have endowed the sponsorship of the orchestra's First Trombone chair.

• 21.10.2011 Paul Mitchell, director of music at Tiffin Girls' School, and his wife have made a substantial individual donation to the orchestra. We would like to thank Dr and Mrs Mitchell for their wonderful generosity.

• 21.10.2011 Sadly, the orchestra will not be putting on its customary Christmas concert this year. Instead, this year's first event will be the winter concert on Saturday 14th January 2012 at Kingston Parish Church (see Forthcoming concerts). Tickets for this event are priced at £10 for adults, £5 for children, seniors and students, with a special £20 family ticket available for 2 adults and 3 concessions - please email our orchestra administrator for more details.
